Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Today I am sharing with you a scrapbook single page layout I am doing for the Aussie Crafters. Here is a copy of the sketch. I kept the shabby chic theme in my layout which to me is beige creams and pinks. I had loads of fun creating this page and have never done this technique before, it finished up beautifully and I certainly plan to use it again - I wish I could credit someone for the brick idea but it was all me I so totally invented it! 1 sheet 12 x 12 Dk Brown card stock.

A hobby with a love of sewing, quilting and embroidery. I live in Golden Beach, Caloundra on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia. My husband and I have been retired here for 1o years and just love the lifestyle. We have two sons and four beautiful grand daughters. My hobbies include quilting, sewing and just hanging out in my sewing room. As you will see and you look through the blog how much I enjoy sew.

Patchwork quilting, longarm quilting, machine embroidery. Saturday, 25 August 2012. Trip around the world quilt. I have just completed a trip around the world quilt. Which I did with a couple of jelly rolls. I ran out of white fabric part way through and had to unpick and redo 7 rows but I am really happy with the end result. You will notice the rows in the top are a slight difference in the white colours.
